COLD ZONE - SigFresh

The RECOVERY sock has an area specially designed to restrain the cold that will allow a cooling effect over time.  By spraying on a 'Cooling' product such as BioFreeze, it can permeate the outer surface of the fabric and transfer the cold sensation via a 'knitting loop' (air zone) towards the surface of the skin, limiting the the loss of the cold.  This in turn acts as an 'ice pack' around the limb without having to carry ice with you!

WEARING AND FITTING

The efficacy of the RECOVERY sock is conditional on the use of the product fitting you appropriately.  Using the table below coupled with your height will deliver the most effective size for you.  Included with each pair of sock is a PERFECT FIT INDICATOR.

PERFECT FIT INDICATOR

This can give each athlete the sock that suits them the best.  The perfect fit indicator supplied with the socks aids correct positioning of the garment on the leg to gain optimum recovery:

  1. Apply the sock so that the markers are at the maximum circumference of the calf area.
  2. Spread the material evenly.
  3. Check the installation of the product using the template
    a) Centre the template with the mark inside, b) Check the calf circumference, ensuring that benchmarks are in the windows, c) Check the threading is straight to the sock, making sure the mark is in the window.
  4. If all markers are in the windows of the template, the sock is perfectly positioned.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
The RECOVERY sock is applied directly after excercise and is designed to stay on for at least 2 hours.  The efficacy of the sock is optimal if the person does not remain upright for this period - ideally.  Wearing this sock requires no special constraints.
MAINTENANCE
Machine wash on 'Delicate' at 30°C with a suitable fabric detergent avoiding a fabric conditioner.  Can be hand washed avoiding excessive twisting on the sock when ringing out.  Dry flat, preferably away from direct heat source. Do no bleach. Do not iron. Do not dry clean. Do not use a dryer.

Measure the circumference of the ankle above the ankle bone - 3cm above (at the thinest part) using a tape measure (in cm).

In combination with the shoe size, the individual stocking size is determined with the right compression. The anatomic asymmetric fit means optimum adaptation. Only with the individual fit can the stockings exert the full compression at the right places and give you an all-round good feeling during sports.
