Northern Lymphology Ltd is set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - The Forest of Bowland, Lancashire, offering extensive views of the beautiful surrounding countryside. The clinic caters for a wide range of clients locally, nationally and internationally. The setting offers complete privacy, peace and tranquility with many visitors encountering the vast array of wildlife and benefits of a country hall estate. Many of the comments from clients state that on several occasions they have felt much better just for visiting the surroundings even prior to treatment commencing.
Development and sympathetic restoration of the Coach House at Dunnow Hall has enabled a new larger purpose built facility to cater for all needs and requirements. This consists of private therapy rooms, a travertine walk-in wet room for clients to use between treatment applications as necessary, a large waiting room, seminar room and free refreshment facilities. The décor is in-keeping with the original building and is enhanced with stone flags and under floor heating. A designated parking facility remains unrestricted and free, visitors are able to park at the door and no stairs are encountered for those with mobility issues. As Dunnow Hall is our family home the grounds remain private and we ask that visitors respect this at all times.
We offer the facility to take both NHS and Private Referrals, contact us for more information.
As a measure of quality and assurance and to endeavour that our standards are truly met by the clients, Northern Lymphology Ltd undertakes satisfaction questionnaires to all users on occasions and you may be asked to participate once you have accessed the services offered.
Measuring the effects of treatment of long-term chronic illness proves challenging and has historically been done using extensive funded research projects and translating this to clinical practice encounters many hurdles. Lymphoedema is renowned to be an under researched area and therefore Quality Of Life (QOL) questionnaires specific to this disorder are not readily available. As Northern Lymphology’s nurse and director is also Senior Lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire leading education at level 3 for practitioners across the UK, there is access to academic work and opportunities to begin to address this. All new referral may be given a pre and post treatment QOL questionnaires to measure the impact of the expert intervention received at Northern Lymphology Ltd.
